Summary

BS in Mathematics and Computer Science. Currently looking for opportunities in the field of computer engineering. During the time at university, I was inspired by my peers, seniors and professors to make something for the world and develop innovative software. During the beginning of my career as a software engineer, I began as a front end software engineer at a tech startup where I learned the flow of software developement and the necessary frameworks and stacks to develope reliable and scalable software. After graduating, I was seeking employment, but due to COVID-19, seeking employment has become a challenge. During self containment, I've spent time to educate myself in software developement and continued to hone my skills in algorithms, data structures and web developement. If you would like to get to know more please, feel free to reach out to me. Thank you for looking at my website!

Projects

Riffle | Collabrative Playlist Creator via Spotify

>Link Here<

The inspiration behind this project was the poor implementation of collabrative playlists on Spotify. Who wants to keep unlocking their phone so your buds can add songs to a playlist? Aside from that, songs that you enjoyed with your friend don't get saved and they're forgotten. I wanted to solve this problem by developing this app where a group of friends could just go into a website, put in a session key, and add songs to a playlist.

Technologies used:

  • React.js
  • JQuery
  • HTML/CSS
  • Spotify Developers API

Movies In The Park

>Link Here<

This is a website written to test out the Chicago REST API. This website is styled using vanilla JavaScript, html and css. I also used Google Map API to show locations of queries. Overall this was a great exercise and can be easily be updated with more technolegies. My next big update to this will be to implement React.js to refine the product.

Technologies used:

  • JavaScript
  • JQuery
  • HTML/CSS/PHP
  • Google Maps API
  • City of Chicago RESTAPI

Java Data Structures (Programming Reference)
